The first ever pizza event at CCA’s newest Pizza Guys location in Los Angeles will be held this weekend, according to the restaurant chain.
The Pizza Guys will be hosting a “Cauliflower Pizzeria with Pizza Guys” on Saturday, July 25th, to celebrate the birthday of its founders, John Caulfield and Mike Stone.
Stone will be bringing his own special sauce to the event, which is expected to sell out in minutes.
CCA President and Chief Operating Officer David Pacheco confirmed to Eater on Wednesday that the event will feature two main events.
The first is a special pizza themed pizza that will be sold out to the public.
“The other is the annual Caulfies Pizza Party, which will feature an entire CCA pizza collection on offer, including the Caulfingers, Caulfire and Cauliflowers, all of which will be available to the general public for $25,” Pachececo said.
“We hope that everyone who makes it to the CCA Pizza Party will get a taste of their favorite CauliFlicks, and that a bunch of new fans of pizza will come along.”
The event will take place at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday night at CACCA in Culver City, and it will be open to the community.
“There are no restrictions as to what type of pizza can be brought to the party,” Pareco said of the event.
The CaulFlicks collection of CCA favorites is said to be the largest in the U.S. Pachecheco confirmed that he will also be bringing in CCA products.
“CCA has a great history of producing great pizza, and we look forward to introducing CCA fans to CCA brands in a new way,” he said.
The event also comes on the heels of Caulforlowers Pizza Company announcing a $15 million partnership with CCA in 2016, which includes both CCA-branded products and a new brand of cheddar cheese, which Pachecos plans to debut at CFA on Friday, July 29th.
