CICis Pizza has been delivering pizza to the Irish capital for a year now.
It has also set up shop in the US and the UK.
The company is also looking to expand to the Philippines.
We spoke to CICises co-founder Sean McNamara, who told us about the challenge of sourcing pizza in a time of globalisation and the challenges of doing business in a fast-paced environment.
What made you want to open up your business in Ireland?
I grew up in Dublin and I grew up on the Cornish coast and I spent a lot of time out and about.
So when I was 17 I decided to make my own business and I wanted to open my own shop because I thought that would give me a bit of a foothold.
I thought it would give a sense of ownership to my work.
What are your ambitions for the company?
We want to be able to do more and have more pizza in Ireland.
What we are doing now is providing the pizza to our customers in Ireland and the other places we can deliver it to.
I think it is important that we have a place to serve our customers and a place for our customers to come to.
That is why I started CICisiPizza.
We have a small staff, but we want to expand and have a bigger pizza and that is why we have set up a business in the USA.
We have a contract with Pizza Hut and it is a partnership, we are not a sole source company.
We will be doing our own business as well.
What challenges did you face when opening up in the country?
The biggest challenge is the fact that there are no big pizza chains in Ireland, but that is changing in the future.
There are more and more restaurants, so that is good.
What is a little bit more difficult is finding people to take over, because we are really in a unique position because we have people in the area.
The Irish community is incredibly strong.
I have had many good friends in the community and I have always wanted to have a presence there.
How has the food environment changed over the last year?
In the last 12 months or so, we have had a lot more people coming to us, more and different food options and the quality of food.
People are going out and getting their meals delivered, but there are some very small places that have been closing down.
The food is good, the atmosphere is great and the food is going to be a great way for our business to grow.
I hope that the people who come here are also very happy with the experience of having pizza delivered to their home or office.
What do you think of the new delivery service CICís Pizza has?
What they do is that they get you the pizza in the right size, and they do it by the slice.
It is a very simple thing.
They do it in front of you, and you don’t have to leave your house.
So you get a slice of pizza and you put it on the table.
It works well.
They have great staff and people are really happy with it.
What I like about it is the food.
The food is very good.
The customer service is good too.
What do you have to say to people who are considering opening up a pizza shop in Ireland or in the Philippines?
I have never been in Ireland before.
I am not sure that we are a food-based city, so I don’t know what it is about food that makes it stand out.
We are just trying to do our best and I think that is what we are trying to accomplish.
We are a small business so I am trying to build a really good reputation.
We really want to have the customers coming to our shop, the customers that we deliver to and then also the customers who are coming to the restaurant and the customers and the waiters that are serving the food that we offer.
I would say the customer service, the quality, the people, the staff are all top notch.
We want people to come here and eat good food and have fun.
We want people coming here to experience the best of the food in the world, so we have to do all the things that we can to make sure that that is the case.
