Chicago’s favorite pizza chain, Pizza Hut, has been making waves since opening its first location in 2013 in the Loop.
The chain now has about 150 locations, including several in the suburbs, and now boasts a reputation for being one of the top five pizza chains in the country.
In the latest Chicago Business Journal article, five star Chicago Pizza den’s new CEO, Anthony G. Salazar, says the chain’s success is largely due to its location.
“I think our restaurants have become so well known around the world, people are just more and more aware of them,” he said.
Salzar says he is excited about the prospects of the chain expanding beyond Chicago.
“We’re in a position to expand across the country,” he told the Chicago Business Review.
“In the last year alone we’ve opened our first locations in New York, Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, Chicago and the Bay Area.
I think it’s going to be a very interesting ride.”
