How to make a mozzarella mozzateri recipe

Pizza sauce can be a little difficult to find, but the best recipe for this pizza sauce is from a recipe in our Italian-inspired cooking magazine, Little Caesars Pizza Magazine.

Mamas Pizza Pizza sauce recipe ingredients: 1/4 cup mozzaretta cheese, shredded 1/2 cup mozzle, shredded (or 3/4 to 1/3 cup whole milk) 2 cloves garlic, minced (optional) 1/8 tsp sea salt, or to taste 1 cup water 2 cups water (1 cup for a pizza sauce) 1 tbsp.

basil, chopped (optional, but it adds a little flavor) 1 egg, beaten (or 2 eggs) 1 tsp.

paprika, or 1/6 tsp.

red pepper flakes, or as needed (or more to taste) 2 tbsp.

olive oil, divided (or ΒΌ cup) Directions: Melt the mozzariats in the microwave, or use a food processor and pulse for 2-3 minutes, or until they are fully melted.

Add the cheese, mozzle and basil, and pulse until it is combined.

Add water and pulse on medium-high until the sauce has thickened.

Add salt and pepper and pulse to combine.

Season to taste with paprika or red pepper, and serve.

Pizza sauce is a good base for pizza crusts, but if you prefer a more creamy version, this pizza is a keeper!
