A new app has made it easier for people to order online at local restaurants.
The company, Pronto Pizza, uses facial recognition technology to match up customers with diners.
They say that it’s not only convenient, but also safer for people ordering from online places.
Pronto Pizza co-founder, Jadun Daswal said, “The best thing about the app is that you don’t need to pay a restaurant and you don`t need to be in a restaurant to get a good pizza.”
They said that the app, which is available in India and has over 100,000 users, has already been downloaded over 100 million times and will soon be rolled out in other countries.
“We have a lot of work to do in India.
But we have already invested in that, so the app should be ready in less than a month,” Daswal told Business Insider.
The app uses facial-recognition technology to find a customer and match them with a diner, and also the restaurant to match them up with a customer.
It is also used by Uber, Go90 and Lyft, which have all been criticised for using facial-tracking systems.
A similar app, Faceprint, has also been released in India to help identify and match up people who are using the service.
It is also being tested in the United Kingdom.
The Pronto app is being developed by a team of seven and is being launched at the start of April.
It comes in two flavours, a regular and premium app.
The premium app is only available in New Delhi and Delhi-NCR.
A regular version will cost Rs 9.50 and the premium version will be priced at Rs 10.
Prontos app is available on Android and is available to download from the Google Play store.
